High School Choir:

The High School Choir consists primarily of 9th through 12th graders. The high school Choir focuses on expanding the use of students' voices. Students continue to build upon the music fundamentals gained in previous classes. Choral music at the High School level challenges students in a variety of ways.  Choral students also participate in MSHSL contests and honor choirs. High School students are required to attend sectionals on a weekly basis.

Junior High Choir:

The Junior High Choir consists of 7th and 8th grade students. The music in Junior High Choir is more difficult and encourages students to think in a more musical and abstract way. Students sing a variety of music from different genres and time periods.

6th Grade Choir:

In 6th grade choir, students continue to develop their vocal abilites and begin to learn how to sing together as an ensemble. Music begins to become more complicated, often adding different singing parts and harmonies.

Elementary Choir:

Elementary Choir is tied in with the Elementary Music classes. These classes range in grades from Kindergarten to 5th Grade. In Elementary Choir, students learn how to start using their voices to sing. They learn about solfege and the basics of harmony and rhythm.
